Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Billie Jean “Sissy” Dawson Edminsten, age 46, of Lenoir, died Sunday, October 24, 2010 at her home. Born September 25, 1964 in San Antonio, TX, “Sissy” was a daughter of the late Billy Gene and Margaret Spence Dawson. “Sissy” had worked at Wal-Mart as a cashier and loved camping. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Tiller. She is survived by her husband, George Edward “Eddie” Edminsten; two sisters, Sheila Lazarus of Lenoir; Pamela Krabis of Cincinnati, OH and one brother, Shaun Nolen of Cincinnati, OH. A celebration of “Sissy’s” life will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 27, 2010 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service & Crematory with Reverend Phil Case officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
