Bill Richardson

Lenoir, NC- Mr. William “Bill” Wicksted Richardson, age 78, of Lenoir, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Mission Memorial in Asheville. He was born in Union County on May 4, 1938 to the late James W. and Connie Richardson. Mr. Richardson was a US Marine veteran. He is survived by his wife, Lora Carver Richardson; his step sons, Barry Pritchard (wife Rita), Phillip Pritchard (wife Debra) and Brendon Pritchard; his step grandchildren, Holly Pritchard Hollingsworth, Mason Pritchard and Luke Pritchard; special nieces, Sheri Rushing (husband Dennis), Jimmie Lane McCorkle (husband John); his great nieces, Chandra Paskert (husband Tim), Tiffany Morse (husband Scott); great nephews, John McCorkle, JR. and Scott Rushing. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Lenoir with Rev. Josh Hughes officiating. The family will receive friends at the church parlor from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service. Memorials can be made to First Baptist Church of Lenoir at 304 Main Street NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
