Bill Beane

Hudson- Mr. Billy Joe Beane, age 83, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Caldwell County on April 8, 1935 to the late Ransom and Clara Bean. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kenny Beane; infant grandson, Max Benfield; siblings, Margie White; Jewel Sullivan; Helen Wesson; James Beane; Carolyn Sullivan; and Judy Suddreth. Mr. Beane is survived by his wife, Sandra Roper Beane; children, Mike Beane and wife, Mary; Doug Beane and wife, Dawn; Martin Benfield and wife, Mary T.; and David Benfield and wife, Denise; sister, Laura Melvin; grandchildren, Kirby; Kaleb; Luke; Seth; Chase; Dax; and Jake; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service for Mr. Beane will be held at the Hudson Uptown Building on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at 3:30 PM with Pastor Sam Craven officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:30 prior to the service.
