Beverly Hice

Ms. Beverly Elaine Annas Hice, 57 of Granite Falls, NC, passed away on Wednesday, December 9th, 2020 at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital. She was born in Caldwell County on October 25, 1963 to Helaine Annas Shew and the late Floyd Dale Annas. She was preceded in death by her son, Adam Martin Hice, paternal grandparents, Paris and Ethel Annas, maternal grandparents, Joe Bill and Helen Earley, step-father Tommy Ray Shew and step-brother Spencer Shew. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Matthew Hice and wife Kaytelyn of Graham, brother Dale Annas and wife Audrey of Hudson, brother Tim Annas of Granite Falls, sister Loria Williams of Sawmills, step-brother Kenneth Shew and wife Denise of Lenoir, nephews, Alex Williams and Dustin Annas, nieces, Brittany Andrews and Cassie Wilson, Dwayne Tramble and her beloved dog Zoey. Beverly was a member of the 1982 graduating class of South Caldwell High School. She loved cooking, sweet treats, manicures, shoes, watching football, and decorating her home. Most of all she enjoyed spending quality time with her family, including her aunts, uncles, and many cousins. Those she leaves behind will greatly miss her sweet laughter and unconditional love. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in celebration of Beverly’s life Tuesday, December 15th at 4:00pm with Reverend Kyle Randall officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be members of the family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the American Heart Association at 128 S. Tryon St., #1588, Charlotte, NC28202. Due to COVID-19 face masks and social distancing will be required. Evans Funeral Services and Crematory of Lenoir is serving the Family.
