Mrs. Betty “Sue” Price Lowe, age 84, of Lenoir passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at her home. Born February 27, 1935 in Caldwell County, Sue was a daughter of the late William and Martha Poarch Price. Sue loved the Lord and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.Sue enjoyed sewing, cooking, attending yard sales and going to Senior Citizen Socials at different churches.She loved attending blue grass concerts.In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Lowe; her sisters, Ruby Herman, Inez Dula, Ann Lou Price, Pansy Price, Vernie Bryant and Vonnie Anderson; three brothers, Horace Price, Rhonda Price and Paul Price. Survivors include her two daughters, Pam Lowe and Cindy McGee (husband Rick); a son Kenny Lowe (fiancé Tamara Letterman); her grandchildren, Ethan McGee, Kayla McGee, Gabriel Lowe, Noah Lowe and Colt Lowe; she is also survived by numerous other relatives. A celebration of Sue’s life will be held Monday, December 30, 2019 at Heavenly Hope Baptist Church at 3:00PM with Pastor Chris Boyd and Pastor Benny Greene officiating.Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Evans Funeral Service from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The family would like to give a special thanks to Sue’s Hospice Caregivers, Melanie, Lauren, Kathryn, Ellen and Hospice Volunteer, Vickie.
