Betty Kincaid Clark

Betty Clark Lenoir – Mrs. Betty Kincaid Clark, age 82, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Caldwell Hospice. She was born in Caldwell County on May 10, 1932 to the late Ivey Cornelius Kincaid and Pearl Florence St. John. Mrs. Clark was an active member of Mulvale Baptist Church and took great pride in taking care of the church and others. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie “Ed” Clark, Sr. and all of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Charlie E. Clark, Jr. and wife, Linda; Michael Brent Clark; Karen St. John and husband, Keith; grandchildren, Stacie Herman and husband, Shae; Brent Clark and wife, Angie; Raven Shook; Nick Clark; Jeremy Storie and wife, April; Jamey Storie and wife, Tara; Darren Clark and wife, Samantha; and 11 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Mrs. Clark’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Brian Smith officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Storie, Jamey Storie, Raven Shook, John David Miller, Phillip Puett, and Jeffrey Phillips. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 prior to the service.
