Betty Jo Collins

Lenoir – Betty Jo Collins, age 45, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Caldwell Hospice. She was born in Welch, WV on June 23, 1969 to Billy Joe Collins and Polly Bailey Collins. In addition to her parents she is survived by her children, Veronica Patterson, Samuel Patterson, Daris Collins, Tiara Collins; sisters, Paula Collins, Barbara Collins, Elizabeth McDonald; brothers, Billy Collins, Jr., Spencer Collins, Jeffery Collins; grandchildren, Yezmia Patterson, Milania Patterson, Ashton Patterson, Alevearea Collins, Kari Patterson, Nevi Trevorah, Zariah Patterson, and Antonio Patterson. A celebration of Betty Jo’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service.
