Betty Sue Clark

Mrs. Betty Sue Marcum Clark, age 74, of Lenoir passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Amorem Hospice (Formerly Caldwell Hospice of Hudson). Born April 21, 1947 in Harlan County, Kentucky, Betty was a daughter of the late Albert William Sr. and Dorothy Inis Marcum.Betty grew up in Appalachia, Virginia. She was a Christian by faith.She loved to clean and loved animals.The thing she enjoyed most was spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Clark, Sr.; a brother, Albert William Marcum, Jr.; and a sister, Brenda Diets. Survivors include her two children, Bobby Joe Clark, Jr. and Lisa Clark Stamey; a sister, Joyce Faye Marcum Davis; a brother, Jerry Wayne Marcum; her grandson, Justin Estes (wife Stephanie); and great grandchildren, Kathryn Eileen Estes and Joey Ross Estes; she is also survived by numerous other relatives. The family will have a private memorial service to celebrate Betty’s life. The family request memorials made to your local Animal Shelter.
