Betty Lou Beard

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Betty Lou Beard, age 67, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Beard was born on June 12, 1943 to the late James Monroe Gordon and Edith Linville Gordon. She is survived by her husband, Ransom Beard of the home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Wendy Cave and Charlie Caudle, Jr., four brothers and one sister. Other survivors include her children and their spouses; Terry Caudle, Ricky and Angela Caudle, Charles Caudle, Christopher and Trish Caudle; step-children and spouses, Michael Beard, John and Lana Beard, Ransom Beard and Annette, Anita and Doug Hatcher; sisters, Virginia Church, Joyce Withers, Janet Whitaker; grandchildren, Cindy Smith, Wendy Caudle, Scotty Cave, Amber Cave; step-grandchildren, T.J. Craft, and Brian Severt. A celebration of Mrs. Beard?s life will be held on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 11:00 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Brother Danny Stanley officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Worship Point Baptist Church Cemetery.
