Bette Cornelius Langmade On Friday afternoon, October 22, 2010, Bette Cornelius Langmade of Lenoir, North Carolina went to be with her Lord and Savior. She was greeted there by her parents Einar and Rachel Cornelius and her late husband, Lowell Langmade. Bette was a good and active lady during her life. First, she was a devout Christian and has served as a Sunday school teacher, choir member, and school volunteer. She we a gracious and generous person who was a friend to all she met. Bette is remembered for her talent in decorating her home, her love of nature, and her beautiful smile. She was a wonderful sister and mother to her surviving family; her brother, Ken Cornelius and wife Mary of Maple Springs; her children; Dave Langmade and family of Nashville, TN, Dan Langmade and family of Kona, Hawaii, Connie Cournoyer and family of Lenoir, North Carolina, and Brenda Carlton and family of Durham, North Carolina. She especially loved her seven grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous other relatives. Our mother, sister and friend will be laid to rest on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 1:30 PM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in St. Paul, Minnesota with Reverend Steve Cornelius officiating.
