Ariel “Belinda” Bean Cline, age 83, of Lenoir passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. Born May 23, 1938 in Caldwell County, Belinda was a daughter of the late Felix Ellis and Dorothy Elizabeth Harris Bean.Belinda worked many years at Bernhardt Furniture as a quality inspector.She was a member of the Grandview Park Baptist Church.She loved quilting and was the head of the quilting group at her church.Belinda was very talented and enjoyed working with her hands.She loved the mountains and spending time with her grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Richard Cline; two grandchildren, Matthew and Victoria Clark; and a sister, Geraldine McKinney. Survivors include her children, Patricia Reid (husband Hight), Cathy Dale, Sandy Lee, Renee Clark (husband Mark), Richard Cline (wife Tina); a sister, Evelyn “Bug” Childers; a brother, Roger Fox; 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and numerous other relatives. A celebration of Belinda’s life will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Grandview Park Baptist Church with Pastor Raymond Spann officiating.Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. Due to Covid-19, the family will have masks provided for those who attend. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Grandview Park Baptist Church Building fund at 117 Melview Road, Lenoir, NC28645.
