Becky Beane

Lenoir – Mrs. Rebecca “Becky” Ann Grady Beane, age 78, of Lenoir, passed away peacefully , Saturday, September 6, 2014 at her home with her husband and childrenby her side.Born February 10, 1936 in Burke County, she was the daughter of the late Gray and Carrie Williams Grady and the wife of Samuel Bernice Beane to whom she was married for over 61 years. Mrs. Beane was a member of Flemings Chapel Baptist Church and a wonderful homemaker.She enjoyed flowers and gardening and her cat, “Tweetie”. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Allen, Jack and Dean Grady. Surviving other than her husband Bernice are her two children, Sherry Beane Barnes and husband Kellar of Asheville; Ricky Beane and wife Debbie of Lenoir; one sister, Carolyn Booe and husband David of Winston-Salem; 4 Grandchildren, Adam Triplett and wife Whitney; Lindsey Raggio and husband Diego; Holly Beane, Tucker Beane and 3 Great-Grandchildren, Briar Raggio, Grady Triplett and Everson Triplett.She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. A celebration of Mrs. Beane’s life will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Flemings Chapel Baptist Church with Reverend David Orders and Reverend David Payne officiating.Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 2:00 until 3:00 PM, one hour prior to the service.
