Barry Allen Laxton

Hudson – Barry A. Laxton, age 54 of Hudson, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at Grace Hospital in Morganton. Born October 13, 1961 in Caldwell County, he was a son of Ted Allen Laxton and Peggy King Laxton. Barry was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Granite Falls. Other than his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Makayla Alley Marie Laxton; three aunts and one uncle. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, April 4, 2016 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Granite Falls with Brother Floyd A. Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 until 1:00 PM at Emmanuel Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully req uests memorials be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 172 N.
