Barry Poovey Harris

Barry Harris Shallotte, NC- Barry Poovey Harris, age 49, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Catawba County on August 23, 1964 to the late Garland “Babe” Harris, Jr. and Melvina “Mel” Harris. He is survived by his sons, Barry Baker and wife, Misty; Gary Wayne Harris; and Dylan Harris; brother, Rusty Harris; sister, Vickie Keever and husband, Bo; grandchildren, Atlanta Jade Baker and one grandchild due in March. A celebration of Barry’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Monday, January 6, 2014 at 12:00 Noon with Reverend Charles Keever officiating.
