Barry Scott Foster

Barry Foster Lenoir, NC – Mr. Barry Scott Foster, age 60, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Caldwell Hospice. He was born in Wilkes County on April 18, 1952 to the late Chelsie Wyatt Foster and Verna Bullis Foster. He was married to Mary Ellen Killian Foster of the residence. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Jean McCloud and brothers, Kenneth Paige Foster, and Sheldon Cordell Foster. Other than his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Julie Truesdale; brother, Reverend Douglas K. Foster; sister, Mona Foster Hamby; granddaughter, Kayla Marie McCloud, grandson, Trevor Lee Truesdale; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Barry’s life will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 12:30 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Kenneth Poarch officiating. Interment will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Mark McCloud, Jasen Truesdale, Elmer Guinn, Gary Hamby, Tony Foster, and Thomas Jensen. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Allen and Jerry Johnson. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM prior to the service. Memorials can be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
