Barbara Ann Eller

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Barbara Ann Walker Eller, age 71, of Lenoir, died Monday, February 16, 2009 at the Caldwell County Hospice and Palliative Care in Lenoir. Barbara was born November 9, 1937 in Caldwell County. She was a daughter of the late Burley and Mary Jane Prestwood Walker. She was a homemaker and attended Blairs Fork Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Frances Backer, Linda Long, and Edna Lackey; and two brothers, Clyde Walker and Marvin Walker. Surviving is her husband, Albert W. ?Spud? Eller of the home; two daughters and sons in law, Robin and Tate Townsend of Lenoir, Rhonda Smith and Jeff Hatcher of Lenoir; a son and daughter in law, Allen and Gaynell Eller of Boomer; a sister, Sarah Burchette of Lenoir; five grandchildren, Tina Stough, James Smith, Adam Eller, Richard Townsend, and Justin Smith; six great grandchildren, Destiny Townsend, Marcus Townsend, Lukas Townsend, Noah Townsend, Graclyn Smith, and Dixie Eller; Barbara is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir. Officiating will be Reverend Jobie Borders.
