Barbara Earp

Hudson – Mrs. Barbara Main Earp, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Hickory Falls Health and Rehabilitation. She was born in Caldwell County on April 24, 1942 to the late Hurley Main and Mary Ward Main. She was married to Benny Earp of the residence for 56 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was very strong in her faith. Her family was the most important part of her life and she will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Georgia Lowe and Peggy Bryant; brother, Roy Main; and nephew, Marty Brinkley. Other than her husband, she is survived by her children, Kim Haigler and Tim Earp; grandchildren, Jessica Derosier and husband, Bryant; Caitlin Haigler and husband, Cameron; Taylor Earp; Kristin Earp; and Bethany Bryant; great-grandchildren, Jack and Josie Brakefield; Roman Chaney; Braylin Ferguson; and Carter Alford; brothers, Ray Main, Junior Main and Tony Main; and sister, Linda Orr. There will be a private memorial service for Barbara. Memorials may be sent to Caldwell Hospice, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC28645.
