Barbara Marie Clark

Barbara Clark, 63, passed away on January 9, 2022 at UNC Healthcare – Blue Ridge. Barbara was born in Watauga County on September 7, 1958 to Eston and Christine Moretz. She was married for 43 years to Melvin Clark. Barbara attended Blairs Fork Baptist Church. She always was willing to help those in need at anytime or anywhere. Barbara spent countless hours serving and helping the Patterson Fire Department Women’s Auxillary. Barbara will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her husband and mother, Barbara is survived by her three children: Stephanie Phillips and husband Will, Casey Clark and wife Meredith, and Misty Potter and husband Jason. She is survived by her grandchildren: Aidan, Alex, Asher, and Addy Phillips; Eli and Summer Clark; and Jackson, Jase, and Macy Potter. Barbara is survived by her two brothers: Eston Moretz, Jr and Scott Moretz and wife Debbie. Barbara leaves behind numerous great-aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. There will be a service held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Blairs Fork Baptist Church. The family will receive guests from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm the day of the service.
