Barbara Auton Smith

Barbara Auton Smith, 80, of Dudley Shoals passed away on October 18, 2022. Barbara was born on January 12, 1942 in Caldwell County to the late Russell and Mildred Auton. She was married for 59 years to the late Wade Smith.

In addition to her husband and parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her brothers Jimmy Auton and Dan Auton.

Barbara is survived by her sister, Wanda Greene, and her three children: Wendy Hamby (Jerry), David Smith, and Darren Smith. She is survived by numerous grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service held at 5:00 pm on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Dudley Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery.
