Ashley Mae Hicks

Ashley Mae Hicks gained her wings Thursday morning at Grace Medical Center due to complications with her heart. Ashley was preceded in death by her godson, Avery Monroe Bentley; her half-brother, Dylan Haga; and her uncle, Michael Colvard. Ashley is survived by her mother, Sandra Hicks of Lenoir and her father Paul Haga and wife Brittany. Ashley leaves behind her four beloved children. Ashley leaves behind her six siblings: Brandon Hicks, Clinton Hicks, Erica Hicks, Dustin Blevins, Winter Blevins, and Alex Hicks. In addition, Ashley, is survived by her grandparents, Johnny and Barbara Hicks. Ashley is survived by her dearly loved nieces and nephews: Payton, Ezekiel, Naveah, Michael, Serenity, Gunner, Summer, Autumn, Kaitlyn, and Kilie. She is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and various family members. She had extended family members, Garland and Toie Watson, and a very special friend, John Davis that she leaves behind. There will be a visitation for Ashely held at Evans Funeral Chapel on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, only 10 people will be allowed in the chapel at a time. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
