Arnold Lee Sigmon

Hickory, NC- Mr. Arnold Lee Sigmon, age 68, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care. Mr. Sigmon was born in Catawba County on October 16, 1944 to the late Leo David Sigmon and Elizabeth Hayes Sigmon. He was married to Patsy Stanley Sigmon of the residence. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Sigmon; sister, Dee Stoiber; aunt, Manah Sigmon; and cousin, Phillip Sigmon. Other than his wife, he is survived by his children, Amy Hughes and husband, Danny; sons, Tim Sigmon and Kevin Sigmon; grandchildren, Kassidy Hughes, Kaydence Hughes, and Karis Hughes. A celebration of Mr. Sigmon’s life will be held at Oakland Heights Baptist Church on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Joel Cook officiating. Interment will be at Laurel Haven Cemetery in Lenoir. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 prior to the service.
