Arlie 'Dean' Gene Craig

Lenoir – Mr. Arlie “Dean” Gene Craig, age 78, of Lenoir, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Saturday, November 1, 2014 at his home.Born December 29, 1935 in Caldwell County, Mr. Craig was a son of the late Lawrence Alfred and Alvie Hall Craig and the husband of Mrs. Shelby Hoyle Craig of the home. Mr. Craig was a member of West Lenoir Baptist Church.He had retired as a golf cart salesman. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Claude, Clyde and Ralph Craig. Surviving other than his wife Shelby is his son, Timothy Craig and wife Rita, of Lenoir; 1 brother, James Craig and wife Mary of Lenoir; 1 granddaughter, Stacey Craig of Mooresville and 2 great-grandchildren, Dawson and Joannie. A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
