Hudson, NC- April LaFawn Price Wilcox, age 35, of Hudson, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at Carolina’s Medical Center in Charlotte.April was born March 21, 1979 in Caldwell County. She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandfather, Walter Bowman. April is survived by her husband, Jeff Wilcox, of the home; two sons, Nathan Whitt of Hudson; Lance Minton of Granite Falls; her Step-Son, Austin Wilcox of Hudson; her Mother, Lynn Justice of Lenoir; her Father, Mike Price and wife Billie of Lenoir; 2 Sisters, Jessica Hart of Granite Falls; Chelsea Price of Lenoir; Maternal Grandmother, Barbara Bowman; Paternal Grandparents, George and Louise Greene of Lenoir and numerous other relatives and friends. A celebration of April’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Reeves officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 9:30 until 11:00, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to The April Wilcox Memorial Fund, for Nathan and Lance at Wells Fargo Bank for their education.
