Anthony Folger Collins

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Anthony ?T.C.? Collins, age 44, of Lenoir, died Monday, February 2, 2009 at his home. Born April 20, 1964 in Caldwell County, Mr. Collins was the son of Frances Sumpter of Lenoir and Folger Collins of Kingsport, TN. Anthony was a simple man who loved hunting and baseball. He was a good man and a great daddy.  He was employed as an upholsterer with Broyhill Plant #3. Surviving other than his mother and father are his two daughters, Tina Marie Lee and husband David of Lenoir; Melissa Dawn Collins of Lenoir; 3 sisters, Anita Digh and husband Bill of Morganton; Amy Tester and husband Max of Lenoir; Jennifer Miller and husband David of Hudson; his grandmother, Mae Trivette of Lenoir and 4 grandchildren, Anthony ?Paws Buddy? Carter Lee; Averyl ?Ameril? Grace Lee; Caydance ?Meany? Faith Collins and Malachi Dalton Lee, all of Lenoir. A celebration of Anthony?s life will be held 2:00 PM Friday, February 6, 2009 in the chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend Brady Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Zack?s Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 on Friday at Evans Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be: Estel ?Dinky? Osborne, John Chester, David Lee, William Miller, Raymond Franklin and David Collins.
