Annie Lee Sherrill

Lenoir- Mrs. Annie Lee Perry Sherrill, age 100, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Caldwell Hospice. She was born in Caldwell County on October 18, 1913 to the late Charlie Perry and Julia Ervin Perry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ned William Sherrill; infant son, Dallas Ned Sherrill; sister Pearl Perry Sherrill; and brother Thomas L. Perry. Mrs. Sherrill was a life-long member of Tabernacle Advent Christian Church and was a homemaker. She was a much-loved resident at Lenoir HealthCare for the past 7 years. She is survived by her son Eugene Ray Sherrill and wife, Lucille Turnmire Sherrill; 3 grandchildren, Gary Sherrill and wife, Mary, Lori Moody and husband, Tim; Alan Sherrill and wife, Kim; and 5 great-grandchildren, Ben Moody, William and Holly Sherrill, and Victoria and Catherine Sherrill; and a number of nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mrs. Sherrill̢۪s life will be held at Tabernacle Advent Christian Church on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Frank Hall and Gary Sherrill officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Sherrill, Alan Sherrill, Tim Moody, William Sherrill, Ben Moody, and Kelvin Teeters. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 prior to the service. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to Tabernacle Advent Christian Church, P.O.
