Annie Beaver Osborne

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Annie Beaver Osborne, age 87, passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson. Born December 30, 1928 in Caldwell County, she was a daughter of the late Walter D. and Lona Jolly Beaver and wife of the late Max Edward Osborne.Other than her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers, Avery Beaver and wife Dorothy; Charlie Beaver and wife Lillie; Ralph Beaver; Clarence Beaver; five brothers-in-law, Howard Osborne and wife Leona, James McLean, Gale Sexton, Ralph Osborne and wife Nancy and Fletcher Hayes and wife Dot and one sister-in-law, Mildred Sexton.Mrs. Osborne graduated from Kings Creek High School in 1947 and went to work in the factory office of Hibriten Furniture Company owned by Dr. C.L. Robbins. Later it sold and became Bernhardt Plant #3. She retired in 1992 after 45 years of continued service. She also worked part time for 10 years at Lenoir Health Care and the Lenoir News Topic.She was an active member of Kings Creek Baptist Church where she was over the nursery and 2-3 year old children for many wonderful years. She became attached to all of “her kids.”She is survived by her loving daughter, Ramona Kaye Osborne and Grand dog, Baylee of Lenoir; one sister, Nellie McLean of Lenoir; one sister-in-law, Betty Beaver of Boomer; two brothers-in-law, Bobby Osborne and wife Grace of Wilkesboro; Ronald Osborne and wife Dorothy of West Jefferson and a host of nieces and nephews.A celebration of Mrs. Osborne’s life will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend Lynn Hawkins and Reverend Randy Goode officiating.The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service.Online condolences may be sent to the Osborne family at www.evansfuneralservice.comEvans Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the Osborne Family.
