Lenoir – Mrs. Annette Benge Whisenant, age 91, passed away on July 2, 2022 at her residence.
She was born in Caldwell County on May 24, 1931 to the late Lum and Emma Benge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bud” Whisenant; grandson, Jason; and eight brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Whisenant is survived by her daughter, Janet Price; grandsons, Nathan and Jody; three great-granddaughters and one great-grandson.
A Gathering of Friends will take place in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
