Lenoir, NC- Miss Anne Gilliam Honeycutt of Lenoir passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. Born in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Carl David and Ruby Nance Honeycutt. She worked for the Lenoir News Topic for many years and then later for Bernhardt Industries as the Residential Production Manager. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles David Honeycutt, and her sister Nancy Lou Honeycutt.  Anne is survived by one brother, Robert “Bob†Honeycutt and wife Brenda, of Raleigh; three nieces, Debbie Helderman and husband Steve of Goldsboro, Karen King of Raleigh, and Barbara Dean Honeycutt of Cary; one nephew, David Honeycutt and wife, Amanda of Lenoir; four great nephews, Cameron Honeycutt and Ethan Honeycutt of Lenoir, and Chase Helderman and Geoff Helderman of Goldsboro; one great niece, Caroline King of Raleigh; a loving pet, Abby, who has been adopted by the family of Steve Pilgrim; she is also survived by many special friends.  A celebration of Anne’s life will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, April 23, 2009 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, one hour prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Evans Funeral Service.  Memorials may be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, N.C. 28645 or to the Bernhardt Shoe Fund in care of Cathy Bowman at 1839 SW Morganton Blvd., Lenoir, NC 28645.  Online condolences may be sent to the Honeycutt Family at www.evansfuneralservice.com  Evans Funeral Service of Lenoir is serving the Honeycutt Family.
