Anne Broach Couch

Anne Broach Couch, age 103, passed away January 3, 2020 at Caldwell Hospice surrounded by family.She was born on January 11, 1916 to the late Charles W. and Annie Kathleen Broach. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Couch, brothers, C.W., Bill, Thomas, and Paul Broach; sisters, Louise Bills and Ruth Kirby. Anne is survived by a sister, Jeanette Moore of Danville, VA; sister-in-law, Marjorie Broach of Lenoir; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of College Avenue Baptist Church and a member of Joy Choir. A Celebration of Anne’s life will be held Sunday, January 5, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Evans Funeral Service conducted by Dr. Chuck Brawley.Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at 2:00 pm prior to the service. The pallbearers will be nephews, Scot Laws, Mark Laws, Jamie Broach, Wesley Brown, Tyler Dilling, and Brandon Dilling.
