Ann Spradlin

Lenoir- Elizabeth Ann Spradlin, 70, died Thursday, November 28 in her home. She was born on March 28, 1943 in Lenoir to the late Verna Cline Spradlin and Harry Thomas Spradlin. Ms. Spradlin worked as a merchandise buyer for Thalheimers of Richmond, VA and returned to Lenoir in retirement. She was a member of the St. Stephens Lutheran Church, the American Camellia Society, and the American Rhododendron Society. She was a graduate of Lenoir High School and from the New York Liberal Arts and Design School. Ms. Spradlin was noted for her talents in painting, gardening, tailoring clothes, and knitting. Although she kept to herself in later years, she will be missed by friends and family. May she rest in peace. Graveside rites will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Park on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Marrietta Smith officiating.
