Ann Margaret Powell

Clemmons, NC - Ann Margaret Powell, 92, passed away at the Elms at Tanglewood on June 14, 2011. Annie was born in Washington, PA on March 26, 1920. She is the widow of Lee Pinkney Powell who went down with the USS Reuben James on Oct. 31, 1941. She is survived by a son Lee P. Powell, Jr. of Oak Island, NC and grandsons Lee P. Powell, III and Kent Powell of Winston-Salem, NC and Darryl Powell of Hawaii. She has five great grandchildren.
