Andrew 'Andy' Howard Small

Lenoir, NC – Andrew “Andy” Howard Small, age 54, of Lenoir, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Caldwell UNC Health Care. Born October 1, 1961 in Caldwell County, he was a son of the late A.B. and Virginia Barrier Small. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Barry Grant Small. Andy is survived by his son, Brent Small and wife Nicole of Lenoir; his daughter, Crystal Small of Lenoir; his sister, Dare Collins and companion, Isaac Shatley of Lenoir; his brother, Allen Small and wife Renee of Lenoir and four grandchildren, Chloe Small, Dylan Goins, Parker Goins and Colton Rich and Andy’s best friend, Mike Collins. A celebration of Andy’s life will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Nazareth Advent Christian Church with Pastor Scott Philyaw and Reverend Josh Wallace officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Small Family to help with final expenses.
