Amy Hightower

Lenoir- Amy Lee Hightower, 39, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Deerpark Health and Rehabilitation in Nebo, NC. Ms. Hightower was born in Caldwell County to Anthony A. Hightower and the late Sylvia M. Hightower. She was a homemaker and of Holiness faith. She was a graduate of West Caldwell High School and received an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development from CCC & TI. Other than her father, she is survived by her daughter, Caroline Elizabeth Hightower; significant other, Manuel Subia, Jr.; three sisters; Margaret Lester (Mike); Mary Hightower; and Anita Ransby (Lamont); three brothers, Anthony Hightower, Allen Hightower, MA, and Kevin Hightower, all of Lenoir; five nieces and one nephew; and hosts of aunts, uncles and other relatives. A memorial service for Ms. Hightower will be held at Dula Chapel Missionary Baptist Church on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Valerie Hightower officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service.
