Alma Crump Gragg

Alma Crump Gragg, age 80, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Amorem. She was born in Avery County on November 13, 1943 to the late Joe Crump and Doris Puett Crump.

Alma was a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping at their cabin, and simply being in the mountains.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Gragg, Sr.; daughter, Sherry Sue Anderson; brothers, Ben, Howard, Doug and Dale; and sisters, Ethel, Dorothy, Catherine and Betty.

Alma is survived by her son, Jerry Gragg, Jr. and wife, Katherine; daughter, Ginger Gragg and special friend, Marc Watson, and son in law James Anderson; grandchildren, Holly Roten and husband, Michael; Justine Oliver; Kayla Gragg and fiancée, Matthew Parsons; Mitchell Gragg; great-grandchildren, Jozlin Oliver; Jacob Prestwood; Raylan Price; Natali and Nathan Roten; and Lilly Parsons; sister, Ruth Carpenter; and numerous other nieces, nephews and family members.
