Allen Young "Ay" Jones

Allen Young “AY” Jones, age 84, went home to be with the lord on July 15, 2023, at his home. He was born in Caldwell County on January 19, 1939, to Mary Bergen Kincaid and Charles Fred jones.

Ay was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother, and son who will be greatly missed.  He was preceded in death by daughter Nikki Jones, granddaughter Ashley Jones,his sisters including:  Domenya, Cassie, Hazel, Gracie Ann, and Jackie Ann and brothers including: CF, IW, and KC.

He is survived by his wife Louise Jones and his brother Ryven Jones also his children including Vonda Thomas with husband Phillip Thomas Courtney Suddreth, Andy Lindon with wife Geri Dula Lindon, and Darshea Horton. Grandsons include Brandon Thomas with wife Cierra Thomas, Saxon Setzer, Kobie Morrison and granddaughter Jaelin Hood. He is also survived by A host of loving great great grandkids and loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 2:00pm at Evans Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 3:00pm Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Evans Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Bushtown Cemetery in Lenoir.
