Allen Bruce Helton

Allen Helton Lenoir, NC – Mr. Allen Bruce Helton, age 61, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. He was born in Caldwell County on October 9, 1951 to Charles R. “Sonny” Helton and Claydean “Deanie” Helton. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Hammond; son, Allen Helton, Jr.; daughter, Deana Holman and husband, Lee; brother, Charles “Tommy” Helton and wife, Anita; grandson, Alex Helton; granddaughter, Alexis Helton; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory forever. A celebration of Allen’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service onTuesday, March 19, 2013 at 12:00 Noon with Reverend Carroll Fox and Reverend Sam Abee officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be: Dayton Helton, Alex Helton, Todd Bumgarner, Barry Barnette , Justin Coffey, and Bradley Woodie. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 18, 2013 from 7:00 until 8:30 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service.
