Allen Paul Barnes

Paul Barnes Lenoir – Allen Paul Barnes, age 19, passed away from injuries sustained in a car accident on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. He was born in Caldwell County on November 16, 1994 to Billy Allen Barnes and Charlene Lemly Barnes. He was married to Courtney Vanderheyden Barnes of the residence. Paul loved the Lord and his family. He was a loving and caring husband, son, brother and friend. He enjoyed taking care of his expectant wife so that she was certain to eat healthy for their unborn child. In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by his sister, Brittany Townsend and husband, Lucas; niece, Evelyn Townsend; grandfather, Billy Gene Barnes; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at Whitnel Pentecostal Holiness Church on Friday, August 15, 2014 at 12:30 PM with Pastor Keith Gilliam officiating. Burial will follow the service at Fleetwood Community Cemetery in Fleetwood, NC. Pallbearers will be Chris Clark, Dyllan McCarty, Tyler Williams, Ethan Bolick, Nathan Bolick, and Dalton Matthews. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:30 prior to the service.
