Alisha Jean Sanders

Lenoir, NC- Alisha Jean Sanders, age 28, and her unborn daughter, Deea Lee Cox, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2011. She was born in Caldwell County on April 21, 1983 to the late David Lee Sanders and Deea Jean Walser Sanders. Alisha was a member of East Flat Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents. Alisha is survived by her daughter, Dakadea Jean Elleby; her son, Dawson Lee Sanders; fiancée, Parker Cox; brother, David Donald Sanders; grandmother, Sue Walser; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A celebration of Alisha’s life will be held at 2:00 on Monday, November 28, 2001 at East Flat Baptist Church with Dr. Claude B. Suddreth officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dakadea and Dawson at Members Credit Union of Lenoir.
