Alice Gregory Fox

Alice Gregory Fox, age 91, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on January 8, 2023 at Grace Village in Granite Falls. Alice was born on January 1, 1932 to the late Dewey Craig Gregory and Bertie Mae Shelton. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-five years, Thurman Fox; daughter, Kathy Fox; son-in-law, George Martin; brother, Bobby Gregory; sister, Ruth Owens. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael Fox (wife, Kathy), and Timothy Fox (wife, Dawn); daughter, Teresa Fox Martin; grandchildren, David Martin (wife, Angie), Allen Martin (wife, Heather), Eric Fox (wife, Christen), Greg Fox, Lindsay Matthews (husband, David), Kelly Hadley (husband, Ryan), Peyton Martin; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Franklin, Ryder Martin, Blake Martin, Hatley Fox, and Avery Matthews. Alice loved growing flowers, dancing, playing cards, golf, going to the beach, and enjoyed her church family. Most of all loved spending time with her family. A Funeral Service to honor Alice Gregory Fox will be held at 11:30AM on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Sawmills with Reverend Stephen Owen officiating.
