Alfred Stanford Cole

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Alfred ?Red? Stanford Cole, Jr. age 52, of Lenoir, went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 5, 2009 while enjoying the family cabin in Deep Gap. Born November 6, 1956 in Caldwell County, Mr. Cole was a son of Alfred Cole, Sr. of Lenoir and the late Evelyn Mae Broyhill Cole. Mr. Cole was a loving father and grandfather and was a real family man. He would do anything he could for his friends. He had worked for Fairfield Chair and McCreary Modern Furniture. Other than his father, he is survived by three children, Tonia Cole and fiancée, Terry Hendrix of Granite Falls; Kinley Beaver and husband Bobby of Lenoir; Stanley Cole of Lenoir; one sister, Susan Cole Parker and husband Wade of Hudson and 5 grandchildren, Christina Bodford, Harley Bodford, Makayleigh Hendrix, Gracie Beaver and Joshua Beaver. A celebration of Mr. Cole?s life will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, September 10, 2009 in the chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Joel Cook officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 PM, one hour prior to the service and at other times at the home of Mr. Alfred Cole, Sr., 2115 Woodcrest Drive in Lenoir.
