Albert Glenn Price

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Albert Glenn Price age 88, of Lenoir, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson. Born September 26, 1925, Mr. Price was a son of the late Rueben and Nevie Bolick Price and husband of the late Katherine Teague Price. Other than his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathie Holloway, and two brothers, Thurman and Charlie Price. Mr. Price was retired from Bernhardt Plant # 1 where he worked hard all of his life. He also enjoyed gardening. He is survived by his daughter, Connie Price Deal of Lenoir; his son, David Price and wife Alice of Taylorsville; one brother, Fred Price of Connelly Springs; 3 sisters, Beulah Baugess of Spartanburg, SC; Rosa Lee Rooker of Bluffton, SC; Cora lee Bowman of Conover; 9 Grandchildren; 11 Great-Grandchildren; 5 Great Great-Grandchildren and numerous other relatives. A celebration of Mr. Price’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Chaplain Steve Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 7:30 at Evans Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be: Jason Deal, John Hutchinson, Roger Keever, David Price, Chuck Price, Chris Price, Charlie Johnson and Lloyd Garde.
