Albert William Marcum

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Albert “Junior” William Marcum, Jr., age 62, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Appalachia, VA on January 5, 1949 to the late Albert W. Marcum, Sr. and Dorothy Harvey Marcum of Appalachia, VA. He was the husband of Betty Price Marcum of the home. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Diets. Other than his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughter, Angela Marcum of Mayodan, NC; son, Casey Marcum and wife, Liz of Kernersville, NC; two grandchildren, Landon and Carter Marcum; stepson, Terry Price and wife Stephanie of Lenoir; stepdaughter, Dalynda Wakefield and husband Billy Ray of Lenoir; four ste-grandchildren, Katrina, Daniel, Allen, and Graycen; two step great-grandchildren, Jimmy Ray and Caiden; brother, Jerry W. Marcum of Big Stone Gap, VA; two sisters, Betty Clark and husband, Bobby of Lenoir, Faye Davis of Sevierville, TN,; and lots of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Littlejohn United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 3:00 with Reverend Allen Boliek and Reverend Joe Clark officiating.
