Lenoir, NC - Mr. Albert Kiraly Gaebel, age 72, passed away on September 7, 2010 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 1, 1938 to the late Kurt and Elisabeth Kiraly Gaebel. Mr. Gaebel moved to Lenoir in 1996 from Bucks County, PA. He was a member of Lenoir Congregation of Jehovah?s Witnesses, where he served as an elder. He enjoyed being with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rudolph Gaebel. He is survived by his wife, Jeannette Gaebel of the home; five children and their spouses, Karen and Ronald Yunker of Lenoir, Beverly Gaebel of Lenoir, Lynnette and Brett Markovich of Calais, Maine, Kimberly and Arne Hedstrom of Ewing, New Jersey, and Kenneth and Jenae Gaebel of Patterson, New York; brother, Kurt Gaebel and wife, Grace of Southampton, PA; sister, Elisabeth Schoen and husband, William of Lansdale, PA; grandchildren, Quinlan and Keanan Markovich of Calais, Maine; and numerous other relatives. A memorial service for Mr. Gaebel will be held on Saturday, September 18, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 101 Countryside Drive, Lenoir, at 2:00 PM. The family will recieve friends following the service at the home of Jeannette Gaebel.
