 Lenoir, NC- Mr. Albert ?Spud? Wayne Eller, age 72, of Lenoir, died Monday, June 29, 2009 at the Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir. Albert was born December 24, 1936 in Caldwell County. He was a son of the late Maynard Lee and Madge Kirby Eller, Sr. Albert was Baptist by faith and had attended Blairs Fork Baptist Church. He retired from Hamby Brothers were he was a truck driver.  In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Eller; one brother, Maynard Lee Eller, Jr.; and two sisters, Doris E. Craig and Linda Jean Eller. Surviving are his two daughters and sons in law, Robin and Tate Townsend of Lenoir, Rhonda Smith and Jeff Hatcher of Lenoir; a son and daughter in law, Allen and Gaynell Eller of Boomer; four sisters, Barbara E. Prestwood of Lenoir, Polly M. Rogers of Naples, FL, Martha E. Bumgarner of Naples, FL, and Shirley Ann Eller of Hudson; two brothers, Horace R. Eller of Hudson, and James F. Eller, Sr. of Hudson;   five grandchildren, Tina Stough, James Smith, Adam Eller, Richard Townsend, and Justin Smith; six great grandchildren, Destiny Townsend, Marcus Townsend, Lukas Townsend, Noah Townsend, Graclyn Smith, and Dixie Eller; Albert is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Reverend Jobie Borders. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Blairs Fork Baptist Church from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Memorials may be made to Blairs Fork Baptist Church at 1704 Valway, Lenoir, NC 28645, or to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
