Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Alba Hernandez, age 83, of Lenoir, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at her home. She was born on April 21, 1938 in Aramecina, Valle, Honduras. She was the daughter to the late Donadin Diaz and Maria Ernestina Villalobos. She is survived by her daughters, Iris Izaguirre and husband Oscar; Bessy Rodriguez and husband Juan; Dina Majano and husband Wilmer; Livi Hernandez; Tinita Perez and husband Jorge; 5 brothers and 3 sisters, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am on Monday, January 31, 2022 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service. Burial will follow in the Laurel Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
