Addielene Crump Harris

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Addielene ?Deanie? Crump Harris, age 78, of Lenoir, went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday, March 3, 2009. Born September 6, 1930 in Caldwell County, Mrs. Harris was a daughter of the late Lee Holden and Jessie Mae Taylor Crump and the wife of the late James William ?Bill? Harris to whom she was married for 51 years. Mrs. Harris was a homemaker and long time member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was very active. She read her Bible daily and was known by many to be a prayer warrior. Her special ministry was sending cards to people for all occasions. Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Marvin Wallace Crump, Sherman Edward Crump, Andy Marshall Crump and Herndon Stuart Crump and one sister, Estell Catherine Crump Parsons. She is survived by her three sons; Joseph Ray Harris and wife Tilda; Michael Keith Harris and wife Cheryl; Jeffrey Lynn Harris all of Lenoir; one grandson, Justin Lee Harris of Lenoir; two granddaughters, Sharon Harris Hartman and husband Ryan of Lenoir; Lisa Marie Harris of West Jefferson and one sister, Ella Mae Crump Melton of Lenoir. A celebration of Mrs. Harris? life will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 6, 2009 at Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. Alan Carr, Reverend Bill Dyson and Reverend Tim Greene officiating. Burial will follow in the Zack?s Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 8 PM at Calvary Baptist Church and at other times at Mrs. Harris? residence. Pallbearers will be: Justin Harris, Ryan Hartman, Steve Melton, Bill Melton, Terrill Crump and Mike Crump.
