Chris Cline

Lenoir- Christopher Alan Cline, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 20, 2020 in Georgia. He was born in Caldwell County on December 27, 1963 to Larry and Mary Cline. He was married to Patricia Dawn Cline of the home. Chris was a loving son, husband, Daddy, PawPaw, brother and a life-time friend to all those who got the opportunity to know him. In addition to his wife and parents, Chris is survived by his children, Ashley Wilcox and husband, Charlie; step-sons, Joshua Gurley and Dylan Gurley; grandchildren, Kaylin Wilcox; Wyle Wilcox; Weston Wilcox; and Nadia Gurley; sister, Rita Cline Craigand husband, Ronnie; niece, Mary Beth Puett and husband, Ryan and their children, Emery and Maelee; and nephew, Jonathan Oliver and his daughter, Kelsey Minton. A graveside service celebrating Chris’ life will be held at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery on Monday, July, 27, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tracy Love officiating. Pallbearers will be Tim Davis, DeWayne Smith, Doug Cannon, John Richards, Scott Hartley and Tony Winkler. Honorary pallbearer will be Mike Calloway.
