James Albert Hood

James Albert “Gebo” Hood, 54, of Lenoir passed away on October 26, 2022 at his home. Gebo was born on November 14, 1967 in Caldwell County to the late Ray Hood Sr. and to Dorothy Thomas Hood. He spent his career as a welder in metal fabrication. Gebo loved to spend time with his family, being outdoors, fishing, and was known to help anyone in need. He loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by them all.

In addition to his father, Gebo is preceded in death by his nephew Tres’ Crump.

In addition to his mother, Gebo is survived by his sister, Deborah Jordan and his brothers: Bruce Thomas, Ray Hood, Jr., Marty Hood, and Allen Hood. He is survived by 12 nieces and nephews and 3 great-nieces and great-nephews.

There will be a Gathering of Friends on Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm.
